Key Outputs

  • Proactively contact retail customers by telephone, email and other channels to generate revenue by selling campaigns.
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
  • Lead identification, qualification and closure.
  • Drive Construction (CI) Sales Execution discipline: Sales Funnel Management
  • On-boarding of retail customers to digital platforms e.g., PCC
  • Utilise systems (OLGA, C4C, Salesforce, SAP etc.) and processes to improve aftersales performance.
  • Maintaining customer data and developing good relationships with other areas of the business
  • Management of Marketing PSEs opportunities and ensure they are actioned and updated timeously.
  • Effective relationship, people and team management.
  • Effective self-management and performance ownership.
  • Develop a strong team focused on delivering superior service to BWE CI regions
  • Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, monthly sales target.
  • Understand full range of Barloworld’s product offerings and promote dealership services including parts, services, merchandising programs and digital solutions.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

Minimum Required Qualification

  • National Diploma or equivalent

Minimum Required Experience

  • Proficiency in one of three languages (English/Portuguese/Mandarin)
  • Demonstrative success in telesales prospecting and developing new business opportunities
  • Technical; Customer Service or Sales experience
  • Experience in conflict resolution and resolving customer queries
  • Mechanical interest and/or experience
  • Previous functional area experiences advantageous (machine sales, parts sales, service, power etc.)
  • Advanced MS Office skills and experience with CRM and ERP systems
