Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Development, implementation, migration and support of comprehensive build and release management processes and provide effective solutions to support the development processes
- Support the adoption of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) using Agile best practices, processes, and tools in an Azure-Devops environment
- Perform support and maintenance and troubleshooting of the various development and automation tools and pipelines
- Ensure the uptime and availability of all components, tools and software of the solutions
- Support program and ad-hoc project requirements that may arise
- Some afterhours work will be required from time to time
Essential Minimum Requirements
- B.Sc or B.Eng in Computer Science, or ND:IT or matric and relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience in a software development environment
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Automation, Scripting, building CI/CD pipelines
- 2+ years of experience in working with resource versioning software like git
Advantageous skills and experience
- Experience in working with Jenkins
- Experience working in Azure DevOps
- Experience working with XL-Deploy
- Experience in working with Jira and confluence
- Experience in working with Docker and/or Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Experience with Elasticsearch/Kibana/Logstash
- Experience in Linux based operating systems and bash scripting
- Experience with a provisioning tool like ansible, puppet or chef
