Junior Draughtsman: Mechanical Design needed at Senwes

 Responsible for draughts of mechanical engineering drawings:

• Working draughts based on instructions from management and marked-up drawings.
• Perform basic 3D CAD modeling of parts and assemblies.
• Extract drawings from CAD models.
• Create digital media suitable for application in various areas of the business.

 Responsible for archive management:

• Maintain the company drawing register and archives using existing proprietary facilities.
• Maintain the company drawing distribution archive.
• Create, store, and maintain drawing standards and templates across all disciplines.
• Facilitate the distribution of drawings and other manufacturing data to prescribed areas of business, both internal and external.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting / Drawing Office Practice.
• Preference given to candidates with a National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of Computer-aided design software.
• Technical knowledge of equipment and machinery.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a drawing office environment within a design, manufacturing, or production-oriented enterprise.
