MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate.
EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):
- 6 Months Exposure to relevant production process in a plant / operations environment.
DUTIES (including but not limited to):
- Ensure effective and efficient operation of the total production process making use of manual operation as and when necessary while maintaining process conditions and monitoring production parameters.
- Operate and control various types of equipment (HM Drum, conveyors, vibrating screens, pumps etc.) and machinery. Conduct pre-shift inspection of equipment, machine parts, and/or components of the production line to ensure production flow according to standards within prescribed processes and procedures. Continuously observe /monitor component performance against standards to identify any sub performance / non-conformance or deviations, and report to Supervisor. Assist with preventative and breakdown maintenance. Hourly inspections to make sure all equipment is functional.
- Adhere to planned maintenance / production schedules to assist in achieving production throughput. Ensure optimised process flow. Identify constraints and/or troubleshoot operational deviations and communicate to supervisor or line manager. Ensure correct product grade. by following grade assurance and control processes.
- Perform lock-out procedure whenever required.
- Perform housekeeping duties whenever required
