Sales and Marketing Management

  • Coordinate Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • Achieve sales budget
  • Meaningful customer strategies & relationships
  • Visits & contact reports
  • Service & Logistics
  • Debtor collection
  • Compliance to customer requirements
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Effective administration
  • Lead negotiation & implement through CSM
  • Effective contract negotiation and management
  • Identify & follow through with new customers
  • Product price negotiations
  • Compile & maintain Sales contracts.
  • New customers
  • Manage Sales & Marketing of the product portfolio
  • Ensure effective CSM implemented

People Management

  • Establish KPI
  • Performance reviews
  • People development
  • Succession planning
  • Perform a mentoring and coaching role for staff reporting into this role.
  • Participate in indirect reports

Production Management

  • Effective product support in conjunction with CSM & other experts in Pelchem
  • Technical
  • Regulatory compliance

Financial Management and Budgeting​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  • Compile detail sales budget
  • Measure and Manager expenditure
  • Compile sales budget
  • Compile expenses budget

Administration

  • Compile sales and revenue reports
  • Compile management reports wrt opportunities, risks & threats
  • Ensure procedures, standard work instructions & systems effectiveness of the function by CSM
  • Systems & Procedures
  • Reporting

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification (HND or Degree) in Sales & Marketing or Commercial or Chemistry/Engineering, supported by sound base of chemicals.

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with 5 years in a chemical sales and marketing role.
