Job description
In this strategic leadership role, your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing and overseeing the Fund’s discretionary financial services
- Liaising with the investment committee on portfolio appetite and risk alignment
- Reviewing investment proposals and business due diligence from Dealmakers
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial briefings from analysts
- Keeping the Fund informed of local economic trends and financial markets
- Interpreting complex financial data and maintaining detailed reporting standards
- Submitting structured reports to the FSCA and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Monitoring and maintaining full compliance with the FAIS Act
Minimum requirements
What You Bring
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing shares, debentures & securitised debt products on a discretionary basis
- Experience or certification related to JSE-listed products (advantageous)
- Matric Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 7)
- RE1 & RE3 certifications
- Class of Business: Investments
- Must be registered as a Key Individual on at least one or two FSP licenses
