Laboratory Analyst: Chemistry (ICP) (NviroTek) Level 1 needed at Senwes

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Perform advanced chemical analyses using ICP and other techniques in accordance with prescribed methods and SOPs.
• Conduct specialised sample preparation and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely sample flow and efficient instrument use.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced analytical instrumentation (including ICP), and liaise with service providers when necessary.
• Ensure quality control of analytical results by verifying against standards, conducting corrective actions, and preparing data for review.
• Support ISO 17025 compliance through participation in root cause analysis, investigation of non-conformances (NCRs), method validation, and maintaining technical signatory standards.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• National Higher Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or a B.Sc. Degree in Natural Sciences
• At least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience using ICP or similar advanced analytical instrumentation and techniques.
