Laundryman needed at Crew Life at Sea

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, and wash all crew and guest laundry according to company standards
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Ensure all laundry is properly labeled and returned to the correct owner
• Keep accurate records of all laundry requests and inventory levels
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs for laundry equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry room at all times
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling and storing laundry chemicals
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed, including cleaning guest cabins and public areas.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a maritime or hospitality setting
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and chemicals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Physically able to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for long periods of time
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
