Lecturer – Economics needed at University of Venda

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Masters in Economics
• A minimum of three years teaching experience at a tertiary institution or five years of professional experience in the relevant field
• PhD and publications in accredited, peer reviewed journals will be added advantages

Duties, among other, include

• Mainly teaching Econometrics and Mathematics for Economics at both under and postgraduate programmes
• Pursuing an active research programme, which includes conducting original research in the field of economics, publishing in accredited journals and peer reviewed books
• Recruiting and supervising Honours students
• Contributing to the well-being of the Department
