Lecturer Positions: Human Resources Management needed at Durban University of Technology

Minimum Academic Requirements:

• Master’s Degree and undergraduate study in the field of Human Resources Management
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in the field of Human Resources Management
• Preference will be given to applicants with completed Doctoral Degree.

Additional Requirements:

• A doctoral qualification in the field will be an advantage
• Commercial or industrial-related experience
• Demonstrate innovative thinking towards teaching and learning skills
• Availability to work at other DUT campuses, in the evening and on weekends and sometimes away from home

Summary of Duties:

• Take responsibility for the teaching, learning and assessing of modules offered, at all levels and associated with the programme in the Department
• Make major contributions to the academic quality by providing leadership of all aspects of offerings associated with the Management / Entrepreneurship in the Department
• Lead, develop, design and review all learning content associated with Management and Entrepreneurship
• Plan and organize educational field trips for students
• Supervise and co-supervise postgraduate students
• Publish in reputable journals
• Promote community engagement within the department
