KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching and Learning

• Teaching assigned classes according to the NWU teaching and learning strategies.

Research

• Research activities to be discussed with research programleader and director.

Community engagement

• Actively contribute to community engagement projects as part of the School of Accounting Sciences.

Minimum requirements

Lecturer

• An honours degree or Postgraduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in Accountancy..
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in teaching Auditing.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the field as an accountant is desirable.
• Registration  with SAIPA/ACCA or SAICA as an AGA(SA). 

Junior Lecturer:

• An honours degree or Postgraduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in Accountancy.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience in teaching Auditing.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the field as an accountant Is desirable.
