LMA Data Analyst needed at Nedbank

Job Purpose

• To gather, interrogate, and package data to help answer questions, solve problems and gain insights.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of existing products, processes, and people.
• Fully understand requirements to deliver the right output in the right format and at the right time.
• Provide support to existing capabilities and other business as usual requests.
• Contribute towards the development and implementation of new capabilities to deliver relevant data.
• Structure data into compliance standards by adhering to metadata governance procedures according to Nedbank documented standards and formats.
• Follow proper development life cycles as agreed within the team.
• Maintain code repositories with compliance to standards, systems, processes and procedures.
• Contribute to internal/external information sharing initiatives.
• Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team, stakeholders, and work.
• Commit to constant personal growth and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers.

Minimum Experience Level

• 3 years in Data Analytics

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level

• Diploma

Preferred Qualification

• Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent.
