Summary: 

  • To ensure the controlling and directing of all the administrative & expenses activities, relating to the DC, are within the framework of the Company. To ensure that continuous coaching and training is conducted to enhance the competency levels of all roll players within the DC and ensure procedure compliance

Functions / Responsibilities:

  • People (Performance & Development)
  • To ensure that back up team members are trained, evaluated and signed off for all critical areas within the LID.
  • Ensuring solutions are provided on areas where KRA’S are not met.
  • Culture & Innovation
  • To set and maintain acceptable levels of performance within all areas of responsibilities as per Labor Standards.
  •  To participate in the ongoing development of a performance measurement framework 
  • Finance
  • To operate within the Set Budgets and Forecast’s within area of responsibility.
  • To ensure that the Site achieves an acceptable Shrinkage result within the set budgets.
  • To ensure full procedural compliance in regards to over budget spending.
  • Task Execution
  • Ensure that all management is full aware of budgets within their areas of responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance, planning and participation with regards to the Stock Take Countdown Program.
  • Ensure accurate and timeous reporting and document submission from those responsible for administration within areas of responsibility
  • To ensure the DC achieves an adequately Managed MIAS Rating
  • To ensure that the DC achieves acceptable rating from the RAM in regards to Admin Audits 
  • To ensure all expenses are managed in line with the profit and loss accounts.
  • Ensure that refresher training is in place within the DC in regards to Procedures
  • Ensure that all the relevant team members are educated and informed in regards toprocedures and weekly communiques
  • Ensure that Post Go Live Audits are conducted to ensure compliance
  • Ensure that departmental Self Audits are conducted and in place within the DC
  • Ensure that the relevant action is taken within the DC on all non-compliances issues detected 
  • Management of waste and other recoveries.
  • Ensure full compliance to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the management of the ECC & Write Off’s Departments
  • Management of time and attendance of subordinates. 
  • Utilization of dashboards, scorecards, to determine challenges and identification of underlining issues.
  • Participation in shrinkage action plans to combat and minimize shrinkage within the DC
  • Full compliance to legislative requirements.
  • Conducting of disciplinary processes, by means of chairing or initiation. 
  • Continuous interaction with co-workers and subordinates to ensure that deadlines and goals are achieved.
  • Archiving compliance

Requirements:

  • Metric/Grade 12
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification/Diploma in Administration or Finance

Experience:

  • 3 Year Managerial Admin or Finance Experience
  • Appropriate IR Management Experience.
