Machine Shop Manager -Manufacturing Job at MPRTC Recruitment

• Responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of a CNC and conventional machine shop within a heavy industrial environment. The role ensures efficient production planning, machine utilisation, quality compliance, and team supervision while driving productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 plus relevant trade qualification and/or tertiary qualification
• 10+ years’ manufacturing/production experience post trade test
• Minimum 5 years’ management experience
• Strong CNC machining knowledge (milling and turning)
• Competent in Mastercam and G-code programming
• Experience in production planning and workshop management
• Strong understanding of OHSA and safety compliance
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport
