CRITICAL OUTPUTS
- Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services as scheduled.
- Maintain the Hospital facilities, clinical infrastructure, gasses and assets.
- Responsible for the completion of maintenance requests as assigned.
- Execute the preventative maintenance plan of the relevant facility in conjunction with the line manager.
- Coordinate special projects as directed.
- Responsible for alerting the relevant manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.
- Ensure that Intercare vehicles are properly maintained.
- Maintain a professional courteous manner with stakeholders and fellow employees.
- Monitor risk related aspects to Hospital Technical Infrastructure, gasses and assets related to plant and equipment (Clinical and non-Clinical)
- Ensure compliance with the OHS Act and another relevant legislation.
- Act as a driver when necessary.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned or needed.
- Follow Group Policy and Procedures.
- Prepare monthly reports as requested regarding: services, maintenance of medical equipment, instruments and assets of the Hospital.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 / Technical qualification
- Experience carrying out medical equipment and facility maintenance advantageous
- Drivers license Code 10 and PrDP advantageous
- Own transport
- Able to be on standby on weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis
