Maintenance Planner – VKB Milling, Christiana needed at VKB Group

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF4
• Valid Driver’s License (Code B)
• Experience in maintenance planning & scheduling (bonus points!)
• On-Key system experience (another gold star!)
• Supply chain management knowledge (you’re on a roll!)
• Background in maize and wheat production (we’ll love you even more)
• Solid computer skills
• Production/industrial environment experience
• Clear criminal record
• A natural ability to add value wherever you go

Duties & Responsibilities

• Use the On-Key Maintenance Program like a pro to keep our machines happy and healthy
• Plan all the important “behind-the-scenes” stuff:
• Condition monitoring
• Plant start-ups
• Lubrication routines
• Sensory inspections
• Scheduled component replacements
• Analyze risks like a detective—spot the issues before they become problems
• Make sure the right spare parts are always in stock (you’re the hero technicians didn’t know they needed)
• Assist with procurement of maintenance spares
• Manage assets and keep track of spare parts like the stock wizard you are
• Keep stock levels updated and ensure critical spares are always ready to go
• Receive and issue spares with precision
• Keep the store clean, tidy, and impressively organized
• Record stock movements on a computerized system—because accuracy is your thing
