Manager, Finance Control & Analytics, Transaction Banking needed at Standard Bank Group

Job Description

• The successful candidate will collaborate closely with teams across Transaction Banking Business, CIB Operations, Finance and IT to identify, investigate, report on and timeously resolve cash reconciliation breaks.
• This role offers a comprehensive view of the end-to-end trade lifecycle for Transaction Banking products (including Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Structured Trade Finance), with a key focus on analyzing reconciliation discrepancies between theoretical and actual cash flows.
• In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the automation and optimization of manual reconciliation processes, leveraging tools such as Intellimatch.

Qualifications

• Qualification required
• CA(SA) / BCom Finance

Experience required

• 3-4 years
• Process automation
• Demonstrated experience of process automation within a finance function. Working knowledge of “new” technologies like Alteryx, Power BI.
• 5-7 years
• A thorough understanding and working experience of the rules and principles of good governance and risk management pertaining to Reconciliations, related products, processes, procedures and policies. A good understanding of accounting principles and account structures.
• Relevant recons knowledge and experience, with an in-depth understanding of systems, processes and procedures to perform recons.
