Position Overview:

  • In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our stakeholder engagement strategy, ensuring that we effectively manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders who impact or are impacted by our company’s operations. Your leadership will be essential in steering our stakeholder management and issue resolution processes, contributing directly to the achievement of our strategic goals.

Minimum Requirements    
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B Degree (Hons) (Relevant) (Essential/Minimum)
  • Certificate in Stakeholder Management (Essential/Minimum)
  • Management Development Programme (Essential/Minimum)

EXPERIENCE: 

  • 6-8 years relevant experience and exceptionally skilled in management (people, department, financial), stakeholder engagement, strategic and operational community development, communication, project management and business management. Relevant experience in community development including practical/hands-on project management and implementation, budget management and stakeholder engagement. Business development and enterprise development experience. (Essential/Minimum) (Operational)

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
  • Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)

Duties & Responsibilities    

  • Ideal Candidate Profile (Includes but not limited to):

Ability to:

  • Lead, direct and manage the Business Unit stakeholder affairs department. 
  • Lead and direct the Business Units (BU’s) stakeholder management/engagement/relations and issue management activities as the stakeholder engagement process owner. 
  • Engage stakeholders affected by or influencing the Company and the BU operations, strategic priorities etc. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure the Company’s and BU’s strategic objectives are met. 
  • Be accountable for the BU’s community engagement and development programme including strategic plan, implementation, relevant legal/regulatory compliance, reporting, community engagement, risk management, audit findings, project development/execution, application of the Company’s community development discipline guidelines and service provider management.
  • Take accountability for the Business Unit’s communication activities to internal/external stakeholders and brand management.
