Job Summary

  • Provide strategic business enablement guidance to the business enablement strategy as it manifests in the various segments, products, and channels. Guide the execution of that strategy in alignment with the identified specific strategies for business enablement.

Job Description

  • Accountability: Operational Effectiveness 
  • Drive the development and tracking of tactical plans and scorecards and take corrective actions where required.
  •  Orchestrate the necessary process to facilitate regular strategic alignment between Group, and business enablement and cascaded to the individual businesses.
  •  Drive strategic reporting requirements.
  •  Provide leadership in engagements with regulatory bodies and represent business enablement in key industry associations and forums where applicable.
  •  Use insights and knowledge gained from high-level reports and analyse complex comparative information to create scenarios to direct strategic intent.
  • Through delivery and execution, perform an active role with the mandate to increase the business lines overall contribution to Group performance.
  • Drive the business enablement team to serve as thought leaders and internal consultants to the business by finding opportunities, solving challenges, and bringing value through their insight and expertise.
  • Direct and ensure that business enablement reduces obstacles in an employee’s workflow, by eliminating time-intensive and repetitive administrative tasks.
  • Accountability: Program Management.
  •  Manage the Strategic Initiatives Book of Work.
  •  Establish Program Management office and provide project management support to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.  
  • Project finance management and tracking of benefits delivery and ROI. 
  • Define business enablement projects and track implementation and benefits and manage the process, understand trends and dynamics
  • Leverage new program management methodologies such as Agile, Lean Methodology, Kanban, for superior project delivery.
  • Accountability: Change management.
  • Build Change management Capability for the Cluster.
  •  Adopt progressive Change management models and embedment approaches for optimal adoption of new processes, products or technologies.
  • Accountability: Good Governance, Risk and Compliance
  • Drive the development and implementation of integrated corporate governance and compliance frameworks throughout the department.
  •  Influence the implementation of effective internal controls system and corporate governance in the functional area of accountability.
  • Accountability: Fraud Management.
  • Develop robust fraud strategy and provide leadership in managing fraud for the Cluster.
  • Accountability: Data Monetisation
  • Consider the explicit use of data and its inherent value to explore opportunities, plan and guide all decisions for execution. • Use data to obtain quantifiable economic benefit for the area of accountability, leveraging Internal or indirect capacity to make measurable business performance improvements and inform decisions accordingly.
  • Accountability: Digital Adoption
  • Deliberately seek opportunities to digitise, automate and implement solutions for customer primacy, innovation, and operational effectiveness.  
  • Utilise resources and encourage the use of new technology (such as AI e.g. Agentforce) to automate, digitization, enhance Customer Service, enable data driven decision making, boost efficiency, optimize capacity by eliminating non-empathetic tasks, minimize operational risk, eliminate handoffs and wastage by facilitate straight through processing, optimize processes and shrink turnaround times.
  • Drive adoption of software products, apps, websites, AI, VR etc.) to their fullest potential, and derive maximum value from a digital process or solution.
