Role Overview: 

  • We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to perform various marketing tasks and support our Sales & Operations department’s activities. If you’re interested in kickstarting your career in marketing and getting a closer look at the operations and inner workings of an exciting, scaling startup, we’d like to meet you.
  • The marketing coordinator role includes contributing to existing marketing programs while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with the company goals and ultimately working alongside the sales & business development teams and provide support across all marketing activities.

Roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the marketing department’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing.
  • Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management.
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice.
  • Assist with developing and managing content across various social media channels.
  • Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports.
  • Conduct market research.
  • Support the Marketing Team in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts, setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars.
  • Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership.

Skills Required:

  • Undergraduate degree in BCom, Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a similar field 
  • 2-3 marketing experience in the tech industry
  • Passionate about marketing with a keen interest in Aritifical Intelligence and Tech.
  • Experience with G-suite; and Canva or Adobe Illustrator. 
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot). 
  • Good understanding of online marketing channels.
  • Basic knowledge of best practices for social media channels. 
  • Highly organized problem solver who is comfortable working independently.
  • Experience with SEO and/or website maintenance, and Account-based marketing is an advantage.
