Position Overview:

  • The Marketing Executive will lead and oversee the entire Marketing Department at Roman’s Pizza, driving all strategic and operational marketing initiatives.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of budgeting, marketing fund management, pricing mechanisms, and promotional strategies to optimize margins and grow market share. The Marketing Executive will play a critical role in aligning marketing strategies with business goals to strengthen Roman’s Pizza’s position as the price leader in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership

  • Oversee the entire marketing department, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and implement national and localized marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer growth, and sales volume.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Product Development, and Store Development teams to support new product launches and new store openings.

Budget Management

  • Manage the marketing fund comprising marketing fees collected from all Roman’s Pizza stores.
  • Develop and monitor the annual marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across campaigns.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness in all marketing activities while maximizing ROI.

Campaign Development and Execution

  • Lead the creation and execution of Above-the-Line (ATL), Below-the-Line (BTL), and Digital Marketing campaigns.
  • Develop national promotions across the brand and localized campaigns tailored to individual stores’ needs.
  • Analyse promotional strategies to understand their impact on margins, balancing increased pizza volumes and reduced margins to grow market share.

Pricing and Promotions

  • Collaborate with leadership to analyse and refine pricing mechanisms to maintain Roman’s Pizza’s price leadership.
  • Design and implement targeted promotions that drive traffic, increase sales, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and execute price increase rollouts across the system, ensuring alignment and consistency across all stores.

In-Store Marketing and Branding

  • Oversee the design, production, and deployment of all in-store Point of Sale (POS) materials.
  • Manage menu design and ensure timely deployment across all stores.
  • Lead the design, production, and distribution of uniforms for store staff, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Support stores with all branding requirements, including signage and sponsorships.

Digital Marketing

  • Oversee the development of digital marketing campaigns (social media, paid ads, email marketing, website content, SEO).
  • Monitor and optimize digital marketing performance for customer acquisition and retention.

Store Support and Local Marketing
Assist all stores with:

  • Branding materials, signage, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Best practice sharing for effective local marketing campaigns.
  • Support franchisees in their marketing efforts to drive store-level traffic and brand loyalty.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyse campaign performance and provide insights to improve future initiatives.
  • Present monthly marketing fund performance and campaign results to the executive team.
  • Use data to optimize pricing, promotions, and marketing investments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s advantageous).
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-channel campaigns (ATL, BTL, Digital).
  • Demonstrated success in managing large budgets and marketing funds.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies and their impact on margins and sales volumes.
  • Experience in managing POS materials, menus, and uniform design and rollout.
  • Experience in the fast food/QSR industry or retail is highly advantageous.
