Job Purpose

  • The Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall management, execution, and reinforcement of Blue Label Media (BLM) ’s brand strategy. This includes reviewing and approving design concepts, managing the design team, creating sales decks, supporting the sales team with pitches, and executing marketing activities for BLM events, seasonal campaigns, and public holidays.
  • The role ensures consistent brand application, effective communication, and impactful marketing initiatives that support business growth and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Management:

  • Manage and uphold BLM’s brand identity across all platforms and materials.
  • Develop and update brand guidelines to ensure cohesive visual and messaging standards.
  • Ensure consistent use of brand elements across teams and external partners.
  • Conduct regular brand audits and implement improvements where required.
  • Oversee content quality, tone, and alignment with strategy.

Design Management & Creative Review

  • Manage the internal design team and external creative suppliers.
  • Review, approve, and provide feedback on design mock-ups, layouts, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure that all creative assets meet brand standards and project objectives.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to translate marketing needs into creative briefs.

Sales Support & Sales Deck Development

  • Create high-quality, compelling sales decks, proposals, and pitch materials for the sales team.
  • Assist the sales team with pitch preparation, including messaging, visuals, and storytelling.
  • Work closely with sales to understand client needs and develop tailored marketing support.
  • Ensure sales collateral is updated regularly and aligned with brand positioning.

Marketing Campaign Management

  • Plan and manage all marketing campaigns for BLM events, special holidays, and public holidays.
  • Develop annual marketing calendars including key seasonal campaigns.
  • Coordinate campaigns across digital, social media, print, and activations.
  • Track campaign performance and optimize future activities based on insights.

Event Marketing

  • Lead all marketing elements of BLM-hosted events, from planning through execution.
  • Develop event marketing plans, promotional strategies, and communication timelines.
  • Oversee event branding, signage, and digital promotion.
  • Collaborate with the Events Team to ensure seamless delivery and brand consistency.

Work Collaboratively

  • Build a culture of respect, trust, and open communication within the marketing team and across the organisation.
  • Promote collaboration with sales, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Foster relationships with external stakeholders and partners to create joint marketing opportunities.
  • Encourage teamwork and shared accountability within the department.

Self-Management

  • Consistently meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Follow internal processes and maintain accurate record-keeping.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing sales decks and supporting sales-driven initiatives
  • Experience in event marketing and campaign execution
  • Experience in digital marketing is an advantage
