Mathematics and Natural Sciences Teacher needed at ADvTECH

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Mathematics and Natural Sciences Teacher to join our team at Elkanah House High School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, have a strong knowledge of mathematics and natural sciences concepts, and be able to create engaging and interactive lessons to inspire and educate students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying levels of understanding
• Teach mathematics and natural sciences courses to students in a clear and engaging manner
• Assess student learning through tests, quizzes, and projects
• Provide feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary lesson plans and projects
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Teaching certification in Mathematics and Natural Sciences
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a high school setting
• Strong knowledge of mathematics and natural sciences concepts
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
