Mechanical Supervisor needed at Hire Resolve

Job Description

• Are you a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for maintaining high-performing production equipment? An established packaging manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical maintenance activities and ensure optimal plant reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the mechanical maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work output
• Plan, coordinate, and execute preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Conduct mechanical fault-finding, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and statutory requirements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance and reduce downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure effective communication across departments

Requirements:

• Trade Test: Fitter or Millwright (NB)
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is advantageous
• Experience working in corrugated packaging or a similar high-speed production environment is a strong advantage
• Proven supervisory experience with the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence
