Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechatronics Engineer located in Durban. The Mechatronics Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated systems and robotics. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research, performing system tests, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve integrated systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining automated systems
- Experience with mechatronics systems, including robotics and control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in programming and using tools such as CAD software is an advantage
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
