Medical Officer (Urology) Job at Gauteng Department of Health

Requirements :

• Basic Medical Degree. Candidate must be registered with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner with Independent Practice.
• Must have proof of current paid annual registration. FCS primaries, ATLS, Surgical skills course will be an added advantage.
• Surgical or Urology experience will be an added advantage.
• Competencies: Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team.
• Thrive under high pressure environment. Patient first mentality. Good communication skills. Integrity and professional dependability.
• Technology and computer skills. Prior experience in Family Medicine will be an added advantage.

Duties :

• Provide effective patient care. Teaching of undergraduate students. Participate in departmental academic activities. Administrative duties such as capturing data. Commuted overtime is compulsory.
