KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Implement the medical strategy to increase prescription and recommendation of brands by health professionals and establish its scientific legitimacy and reputation  
  • Develop relationships and programs with KOLs, scientific societies and patient associations to establish the scientific and medical reputation of the brands / Division 
  • Collaborate with KOLs and HCPs to drive scientific studies and outputs 
  • Develop and deploy communication strategy, tools and content for internal and external stakeholders (dotted reporting line to marketing manager)  
  • Develop an omnichannel communication strategy and deploy digital tools that will serve the strategy 
  • Resource localization and development to assist field teams in communicating with relevant stakeholders (eg detail aids) 
  • Test the ROI of Medical communication assets with relevant stakeholders 
  • Enhance the image and increase prescription and recommendation of the brands.  
  • Promote the brands’ added value by emphasizing the technical and scientific characteristics of the products and services.  
  • Get to know the environment, the pathologies, the products and the useful communication techniques for promoting the products and services.  
  • Represent the brand/the Division at every contact opportunity with health professionals and ensure they are followed up (congresses, ongoing medical training)  
  • Use all available communication channels to increase message frequency and enhance customization  
  • Implement communication techniques to adapt to external and internal stakeholder needs  
  • Ensure synergy with commercial and marketing teams to drive divisional strategy  

SKILL, KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • Relevant qualification or degree  
  • Experience in KOL mapping and stakeholder management  
  • 2 years of experience in a medical function within Pharmaceutical or FMCG dermatology   
  • Knowledge of the dermo cosmetic/Pharmaceutical regulatory environment   
  • A driver’s license  
  • Track record of success in building medical relationships  
  • Willingness to travel
