Melrose | Au Pair | R17000 – R18500 needed at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Melrose
• Ages: Son in Grade 5 and newborn baby
• Working hours: Mon – Fri 07:00 – 16:30 – flexibility only when pre-arranged
• Duties: General care of the baby during the mornings, changing nappies, feeding, prepping bottles and meals. Putting down for naps, engaging in stimulating age appropriate activities with the baby. Collect from school, Take to extra-murals, Assist with and supervise homework, Engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, Prepare meals for your children, Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)
• Requirements: Age 25-35 female candidate, who had experience with newborns and small children as well as school assistance academic assistance for 10 year old. Teaching background preferably. CPR a must and early childhood development. Kind and energetic.
• Start date: 02 February 2026 – Permanent role
• Salary: R17000 – R18500 (gross, before deductions) plus SARS Rates (R4.76) per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
