This high-RPM graduate role focuses on the data-driven optimization of product assortments and managing 100% compliance across e-commerce retail categories. Utilizing Oracle for inventory tracking and Salesforce for vendor orchestration, the graduate reduces operational risk in retail planning. Their work leverages data-driven sales metrics to identify growth opportunities and ensures the commercial success of South Africa’s leading retail platform.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Advertising/Marketing/General commercial/Business

The skills we need:

  • Computer Literacy
  • Ability to understand product demand, pricing strategies, and promotional opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing product listings, images, and descriptions
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and data tools
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and trends
  • A strong interest in Ecommerce.  
  • Ability to verbalize as well as visualize findings and results.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with the relevant stakeholders  to drive merchandising and promotion related KPIs. 
  • Assist with converting new buyers to the Mr D platform through merchandising  and promotional initiatives. 
  • Supporting the team with the management of the Coupon tool  (campaign set up, monitoring and reporting).
  •  Set up, execute & monitor restaurant promotions in the Mr D promotion system 
  •  Set up, execute & monitor restaurant in app merchandising 

Career Growth & Education

A degree in Marketing, Finance, or Retail Management is required, with growth supported by mastering retail analytics and demand forecasting. Professionals can advance to Buyer or Category Manager roles by pursuing specialized bootcamps in digital retail transformation. Participating in global retail forums and obtaining certifications in supply chain management provides a pathway to senior leadership in the international e-commerce sector.

Salary & Financial Insight
