Job Description
- Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for a Mining Manager to be based at a Mine in the Northern Cape!
Responsibilities:
- Legally appointed 3.1 under the Mine Health and Safety Act, ensuring full compliance with statutory and safety requirements.
- Plans, coordinates, and oversees all mining operations to achieve production, safety, and cost targets.
- Leads and manages multidisciplinary teams, driving performance, development, and accountability.
- Ensures optimal equipment performance through effective maintenance planning and resource utilization.
- Drives operational excellence and continuous improvement, fostering a strong safety and compliance culture across all mining activities..
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree / National Diploma in Mining Engineering
- Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency
- 6 years of Section Manager 2.6 Legal Appointed experience in a Hard Rock Mine
- 2 years in an Opencast Mining environment
- Valid Driver’s License Code 08
