Mixer – Aliwal North Mill needed at PepsiCo

Job Overview:

• Responsible for organizing workflow and takes responsibility for safety, quality, delivery and performance on the line.
• Ensure line efficiencies as per agreed target. Adhere to GMP standards.
• Adhere to safety regulations.
• Running machine on set speed as per specifications.
• Operation of Binder, Fawema and FFS machines including machine set-up
• Fault finding and adjustments to ensure product within spec
• Maintain 5S while operating machinery
• Execute change over as per schedule

• Adhere to safety regulations
• Running machine on set speed as per specifications
• Adhere to all related procedures
• Reporting any deviations on the machine to maintenance and assist maintenance during breakdowns
• Perform ad hoc tasks

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in operating Binder and FFS packing machines
• Matric, Technical Qualification will be advantageous
• Comply and adhere to quality systems (GMP, HACCP, FSSC)
• Monitor and ensure that all required documentation is completed as per standard
• Continually seeking to identify opportunities for cost saving and more effective ways of carrying out production activities
• Analyze performance and seek ways to continually improve
