About the Role

• BIM Revit Modelers for the modeling of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & C&I Engineering Services in Industry & MCF AGs in our SA Offices in Johannesburg / Cape Town / Umhlanga.

Job Requirements
Desired Qualifications and Professional Registration

• Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/C&I Engineering / BIM / Revit / Draughting
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience, preferably within the consulting engineering-built environment. 
• BIM, Revit & Revizto experience is required and shall be assessed.
• Knowledge of Dynamo, Python, and other ways to automate your work are highly beneficial.
• Experience with Common Data Environments and other relevant platforms.
• Sound Mechanical (HVAC / Wet Services / Utilities / Fire) / Electrical / Electronics & C&I Engineering Services expertise & experience is required.
• Dual or multidiscipline expertise & experience with other building services is added advantage.
• Experience with building type projects is required and exposure to industrial or data center building projects is beneficial.
• Appropriate knowledge of local and international standards and codes.

Duties and Responsibilities

We will entrust and rely on you to:

• Develop BIM families and efficiently engineer and model design using technical and 3D/BIM modeling skills;
• Engineering designs in project teams under the guidance of the Lead Engineer.
• Develop diagrams of the services installations and coordinate with other disciplines for the initial space reservations;
• Modelling the services installations in 3D Revit/BIM based on diagrams and coordinated space reservations;
• Implementing knowledge based on functionality, mountability, accessibility and maintainability into the model to ensure that the contractor can build it according to our model without revising it;
• Work within a multidisciplinary team across borders;
• In addition to participating in projects, contribute to the optimization of internal business processes and to safeguarding and sharing knowledge within the field;
• Regular contact and communication with the Project Engineers;
• Coordinate with other building services;
• Ensure that work is done in accordance with acceptable standards of both Royal HaskoningDHV and its Clients;
• Maintain project records in accordance with internal quality system.
