Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process withdrawal instructions and arrange for authorisations
  • Ensure clients are FICA compliant
  • Open new accounts on Nedbank & Investec platform
  • Receive deposits
  • Liaison with clients, staff and partners
  • Liaison with bank staff
  • Resolve queries with various parties
  • Monitor system and balance interest daily
  • Perform daily reconciliations
  • Attend to banking details
  • Assist with ad hoc duties in the Money Market department.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • Be able to operate under pressure and meet daily deadlines
  • Quality and detail orientated
  • Knowledge of banking procedures
  • Strong administration skills
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Be able to deal with and resolve problems
  • Client focused
  • Previous Bank Teller experience will be advantageous
  • Administrative qualification will be advantageous
