Duties and Responsibilities
- Process withdrawal instructions and arrange for authorisations
- Ensure clients are FICA compliant
- Open new accounts on Nedbank & Investec platform
- Receive deposits
- Liaison with clients, staff and partners
- Liaison with bank staff
- Resolve queries with various parties
- Monitor system and balance interest daily
- Perform daily reconciliations
- Attend to banking details
- Assist with ad hoc duties in the Money Market department.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification
- At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Computer literate (MS Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Be able to operate under pressure and meet daily deadlines
- Quality and detail orientated
- Knowledge of banking procedures
- Strong administration skills
- Strong people and communication skills
- Be able to deal with and resolve problems
- Client focused
- Previous Bank Teller experience will be advantageous
- Administrative qualification will be advantageous
