Qualifications and experience required:
- B. degree in Social Science/Public Management Qualification (Monitoring and Evaluation qualification will be an advantage).
- Valid Code B driver’s licence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Three to five years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation.
- One year’s experience in the development of institutional monitoring and evaluation plans within a municipal/governmental/NGO environment (a recommendation).
Job purpose:
- Monitoring the implementation of Council resolutions as well as reporting on the implementation of priority institutional projects.
- Developing annual Technical Indicator Descriptors and Standard Operating Procedures for all institutional performance indicators.
- Developing institutional Oversight Reports in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Managing departmental electronic systems related to the gathering, storage and analysis of data and information and institutional access by users to the Monitoring and Evaluation electronic data system.
- Creating regular information reports to be presented to management.
- Providing core support to the unit and the institution through the development and maintenance of accurate management information and the analysis of available information.
