Occupational Therapist needed at ADvTECH

Job Description:

• We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will work with individuals of all ages who have physical, mental, or developmental challenges to help them improve their quality of life and ability to perform daily tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients’ physical, mental, and emotional capabilities
• Develop personalized treatment plans to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to help clients improve their motor skills, cognitive abilities, and overall independence
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, speech therapists, and social workers, to create holistic care plans for clients
• Monitor clients’ progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Educate clients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve daily functioning and quality of life

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working with clients with physical, mental, or developmental challenges
• Strong clinical and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
