Responsibilities / Key Performance Areas:

  •  Handling of all sales queries and orders
  •  Dealing with all administration including processing all orders
  •  Assisting customers face to face, telephonically and via email and Whatsapp
  •  Verifying orders, including customers’ personal information and payment details
  •  Data capturing onto internal computer system
  •  Informing clients of stock availability, stock alternatives and lead times
  •  Accurate invoicing to clients
  •  Expediting orders through internal liaison
  •  Time management and delivering timeous responses to customer’s requests are crucial
  •  Maintaining and updating sales and customer records
  •  Keep the company website up to date, develop the company’s online presence and engage
  • with clients.
  •  Clear concise communication in both Afrikaans and English
  •  Must have excellent organisational skills, great attention to detail and pro-active attitude
  •  Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, as required.

Requirements:

  •  Matric/Grade 12 certificate
  •  2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  •  Extensive computer literacy skills such as Excel, Outlook, Omni (advantageous)
  •  Must be able to work as part of a team
  •  Good telephone and email etiquette
  •  Ability to understand the FMCG trade
  •  Reliable transport to and from work
  •  Candidate to reside close to the Head Office or surrounding areas
