Job Purpose

• The candidate will oversee the restoration and clean-up of affected taxpayer accounts (correcting tax returns/performing complex calculations e.g. interest rate). This will require the candidate to oversee, plan and lead complex audits across multiple tax types, multiple periods with multiple risks, and understanding the risk implications across other tax types, in compliance with all legislative requirements.

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma  (NQF 7) in Accounting / Taxation AND 5 – 7 years’ experience in Accounting / Auditing/ Fraud / Tax environment, of which 1 year at junior management level.
• Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 10 years related experience in Accounting / Auditing / Fraud / Tax environment of which 1 year at junior management level.

• Implement change & provide guidelines to direct reports defining the impact of change, the change itself & new requirements because of the change.
• Implement resource plans in line with delivery and performance objectives, on budget and in partnership with specialised areas.
