Duties:
- Lead Data-Driven Production and Quality Systems:
- Spearhead the implementation and continuous improvement of production and quality control systems, leveraging data analytics to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive strategic decision-making.
- Manage Raw Materials, Final Product & Consumables Stock:
- Oversee the entire supply chain of raw materials, consumables, and finished product stock to ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize downtime, and support uninterrupted production flows.
- Coordinate Daily Production Reviews & Reporting:
- Lead daily operational meetings to review production performance, address issues in real time, and compile comprehensive reports for senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Use Your MS Office Proficiency to Drive Operations Excellence:
- Utilize your strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) to analyze operational data, track KPIs, prepare presentations, and communicate effectively across departments.
- Oversee Crushing, DMS, Dryer & Magnet Plant Operations:
- Manage and optimize key processing plant operations, ensuring efficient throughput, equipment reliability, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Supervise the Quality Control Laboratory:
- Ensure accurate sampling, testing, and reporting by the QC Lab to maintain product quality standards, support customer requirements, and facilitate compliance with ISO or similar standards.
- Mine Planning & Pit Optimisation:
- Collaborate with planning teams to align pit development with production targets, improve ore recovery, and ensure cost-effective mining practices through pit optimisation techniques.
- Drive Metallurgy, R&D, and Continuous Improvement:
- Champion metallurgical innovation and R&D projects to enhance process efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve product yield.
Requirements:
- BSc or BTech in Metallurgical/Process Engineering
- 10+ years in mineral processing, including dense-medium plant ops
- Proven leadership in metallurgy, mineral processing, or production
- Project management portfolio is a must
