Operator GR3 : Front End Loader needed at Gold One Group Limited

Qualifying Criteria:

• Grade 11 or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications.
• Code 08 / 10 driver’s license.
• MQA Competency B Certificate; Relevant qualifications, courses and licenses.
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a trackless mining environment.
• Proficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages.
• Must be a legal South African citizen.
• Clear Criminal Record.
• Declared medically fit for the position by our OHP

Responsibilities:

• Work a cycle or a rotation of shifts
• Good operating skills and at least 1-3 years experience within a trackless mining environment
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and complete daily checklist
• Assist with daily check and weekly services
• Be observant/vigilant when the machine is operational and / or in motion
• Loading and clearing of ore for transportation by the trucks
• Assist with and monitor preventative and breakdown maintenance during shift
• Ensure that the machine is in good operating order and report any faults and inconsistencies to the supervisor and control room
• Always take instructions from the supervisor responsible for the shift
• Conduct all work according to required standards and specifications
• Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1’s safety motto: “Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely”
