Part-Time Foundation Phase Lecturer needed at ADvTECH

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Presenting content in a classroom environment (contact sessions).
• Arranging for consultations with students.
• Results analysis at a modular level.
• Marking assessments and providing constructive feedback
• Employing interventions for at-risk students
• Integrating and promoting the effective use of technology in teaching and learning to enhance student engagement and academic outcomes.
• Engaging in professional development and contributing to departmental and institutional initiatives.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour’s degre OR
• Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8 And:
• The undergraduate qualification or postgraduate qualification must include a focus on Foundation Phase and/or Early Childhood Teaching.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years school teaching experience in the Foundation Phase required.
• Tertiary Lecturing Experience (Ideal).
• Teaching experience does not include experience gained during Teaching practice / Work Integrated Learning / Intern work or being a Teaching assistant.
