• Emeris Nelson Mandela Bay Campus has a vacancy for a Sessional/Part-Time Lecturer in the following module: Quantitative Techniques

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Any Honours degree with Statistics/Econometrics to a third-year level.

Alternatively:

• Honours in one of the Business-related fields (e.g. economics, entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) – with Statistics/ Econometrics to a third-year level.
• Bachelor's degree with Statistics/ Econometrics to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Lecturing experience in Statistics/Mathematics
• Work experience as a statistician (e.g. STATSSA)/in a business-related field. Quantitative research with a strong emphasis on statistics.

Working Conditions: 

• Please note that this is an independent contractor (IC) position. 
• This module is for Bachelor of Commerce students.
• Please note that lectures take place between 08:20 and 16:45 on weekdays.
• Classes are conducted face–to–face on campus.
