The Department of Information Technology in the Faculty of ICT has three Part-Time Lecturer positions available at the Soshanguve South Campus to teach the following Diploma subjects: 

• CN2F15D – Computing Fundamentals B (Groups 3, 4 and 5) 
• CNT316D – Computer Networks 316R 
• NMG316D – Network Management 316R 
• PS1216D – Computer Security 215R

Key performance areas/Core functions: 

• Preparing all lecture materials, assessments, and related documents 
• Presenting lectures and assessing students in the department 
• Performing administration of marks and other related administrative duties under the subject head, sectional head, and HOD supervision. 
• The appointments are for TUT contact periods for the 1st semester of 2025. 
• Successful applicants only receive a part-time salary according to TUT policy. 
• No additional remuneration for travel, relocation, etc. 

Minimum requirements: 
Academic qualifications: 

• Master’s degree (Support Services / Networking and/or Security) 
• NB: Candidates with Honours degrees / Postgraduate Diplomas can be considered if we do not find enough suitable candidates with Master’s degrees. 

 Experience:

• At least three (3) years of teaching and/or research and/or industrial experience in Information Technology (Support Services / Communication Networks and Security).
