Part-Time Lecturers x8 -Humanities needed at Tshwane University of Technology

Key performance areas/Core functions:

• Be responsible for all general admin work related to the subjects including updating of study guides and lecture materials on MyTutor and uploading of assessments marks in ITS.
• Participate in the development of new curricula in line with the HEQSF structures.
• Setting of assessments and marking scripts.
• Ensuring that all allocated subjects adhere to assessment structure and time frames (submission of marks, moderating of marks, and other related processes).
• Involvement in departmental community projects.
• Compile and maintain quality study guides, subject files and other Teaching and Learning material.
• Liaise with industry regarding practical, Advisory Committee Meetings, Industry visits and other related activities.
• Attend meetings.

Minimum requirements:
Academic qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Law (LLM).
• A qualification in teaching in Higher Education will be an added advantage.
• NB: Submission of all academic records and certified copies of all qualifications is required.

Experience:

• Three (3) years practical experience in a legal practice/environment (which includes articles of clerkship or pupilage) or 3 years Teaching experience at a tertiary institution.

Recommendation:

• Admission as an Attorney/Conveyancer/Notary or completed of Bar exam pupilage will be a strong recommendation
