Job Description
- The successful candidate must be able to function well in a diverse team. This person must be able to multitask, prioritise and be able to work under pressure.
Duties and responsibilities for the first semester:
- Facilitate induction
- Manage Payroll counter
- Manage Payroll telephone
- Terminate employee’s records – resignations
- Finalise resignation packs
- Update and maintain employee records
- General admin duties
Duties and responsibilities for the second semester:
- Scanning and filing
- Quality checking
- Checking and signing off the documents from HR and other department
- Capturing of staff information
- Update and maintain employee’s record
- Assist with creating payroll imports
- UIF application forms and communication
- Ad hoc payroll duties
- General admin duties
Skills & Competencies:
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to details and quality oriented
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Strong administrative skills
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA in business administration or BCom in Human Resources or similar relevant field
Experience:
- MS Office – Advance MS Excel (advantageous)
- Exposure to Payroll environment (advantageous)
