What you’ll do:
- As a People Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing deep support, HR & ER expertise and advice using a coaching framework.
- Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve consulting across the employee lifecycle, ensuring that the employee experience aligns with the company’s culture.
- You will partner with various business areas to formulate ideas, optimise solutions and enable people strategies.
- Your role will also involve coaching on recruitment and onboarding, performance and conduct, transformation as well as facilitating the implementation of people strategies.
- Consult across the employee lifecycle, in partnership with P & O Leads
- Ensure the employee experience is entrenched in the company’s culture
- Partner with business areas to formulate ideas, optimise solutions and enable people strategies
- Consult and coach on recruitment and onboarding, performance and conduct, transformation, facilitation and implementation of people strategies
- Leverage and use of internal skills and talent (internal mobility)
- Facilitate succession planning and career pathing guidance
What you bring:
- The ideal candidate for this People Consultant role will bring a deep understanding of company culture along with extensive knowledge and experience in relation to people management.
- You should have commercial acumen along with an appreciation of the regulatory environment.
- Your strong coaching and consulting skills will be essential for this role. Additionally, you should be able to effectively manage retrenchment, misconduct, poor performance, grievances, and retirement processes.
