Job Description
- The Data Analytics Graduate Programme within the Card Business Unit is designed to cultivate analytical thinkers who can translate data into strategic insights that enhance customer experiences, drive portfolio growth, and improve profitability. Graduates will learn to extract value from complex datasets, apply statistical and machine learning techniques, and develop visualizations and reports that support data-driven decision-making. The program emphasizes not only technical proficiency but also commercial acumen, ensuring participants understand the “why” behind the “what” in credit card product performance.
- A key component of the program is fostering collaboration and cross-functional problem-solving. Graduates will work closely with marketing, product, finance, compliance, IT, and risk teams to address real business challenges. This exposure ensures a holistic understanding of the bank’s operations and promotes strong communication and stakeholder management skills. In addition, participants will have access to structured learning pathways, mentorship from experienced professionals, and opportunities to participate in innovation sprints, cross-team analytics forums, and bank-wide data communities—all of which are designed to accelerate learning, encourage knowledge sharing, and inspire innovation.

Qualifications
Masters or Honours in:
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Actuarial Sciences
- Quantitative Risk Management
- Decision Making
- Business Science
- Economics
Minimum requirements:
- South African Citizen
- Should you have work experience, it should not exceed 24 months
- Full academic transcripts to be submitted with application for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
