REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications and Competencies

• Qualified, registered and active with the South African Pharmacy Council [SAPC] as Pharmacist Assist [Basic]
• Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to do after hours work and be on call including shift
• Inherent requirement of the job: Computer literacy including MS Outlook, Word,
• Excel and PowerPoint; Virtual meeting platforms literacy.
• Inherent requirement: A valid driver’s license [attach a copy]

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Store, maintain and control stock
• Ordering and receipt of medicine
• Issuing medicines to the wards and demanders
• Picking, packing and dispatching medicines
• Perform stock take and all stock management functions
• Dispensing of medicines in line with the scope of practice including chronic medicines
• General housekeeping of the pharmacy including temperature monitoring and general administration and record keeping
