• A picker must participate in our warehouse operations and activities. A picker’s responsibility includes picking, packing, scanning orders, and ensuring best quality has been picked for the stores. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• This position reports directly to the Outbound Supervisor, Outbound Manager, and the Outbound Checker and will be required to work different shifts across trading and non-trading hours, including Sundays and Public Holidays.

What you’ll do
This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick according to schedule (pick; pack; wrap; label)
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedure, rules, and regulations.
• Handle heavy lifting, moving products as needed.
• Operate a scanner to track and record inventory movements.
• Build and maintain product knowledge to assist with accurate picking and packing.
• Work efficiently, especially during peak periods.

Requirements

• Matric
• Driver licence: Forklift operator
• Experience: Picker
• Within 25km from job
• Clear criminal record

Preferences
Meeting the preferences would be a plus, but if you don’t, it won’t stop companies from considering you.

• Experience: Minimum 1 years’ experience as a picker in the warehouse environment
• Male candidates
• Candidates between 25 and 40
