The incumbent will be responsible for planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to ensure availability and optimum utilization of the equipment in a safe effective and operating conditions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and practices.
- Developing and setup SAP (MPA) master data to enable maintenance teams to effectively manage assets.
- Planning and managing SAP upgrades and patches.
- Training the business on Asset Management Planning Systems (Work Management, Shutdown management) and SAP (MPA) courses to middle management level employees.
- Providing reliable and effective management information and business system support in SAP.
- Managing Physical Asset (MPA) module.
- Performing all data extraction and analysis of MPA information for management and provide management information as required by the business and all audit requirements.
- Developing an excellent understanding of business processes and value drivers.
- Various data collection, verification, analysis, and reporting activities associated with managing assets.
- Identifying opportunities for improving maintenance performance (efficiency & cost).
- Leading a team of asset management Data Capturers and Relief Maintenance Schedulers
- Analysing problems and alert relevant people in the organization.
- Attending and participate in SHEQ meetings.
- Day -to- day supervision of subordinate.
- Managing the performance of subordinates.
- Managing time and attendance of subordinates.

Qualifications & Experience:
- National Diploma in Asset Management.
- Mechanical or electrical trade test certificate will be advantageous.
- 5 Years Maintenance Planning experience, and a well-developed understanding of Winders, Conveyors, Upcast Fans, and Chillers.
- Data Analysis with an Advanced level in Excel and Data Manipulation
- Competence in the use of MS Office.
- Excellent understanding of SAP (MPA).
