Responsibilities
Job Overview:
- The role of the incumbent is to maintain the sieve room spare stock levels, partake is sifter maintenance, sieve stretching and general plant maintenance.
- Spares stock control
- Sieve stretching
- Plantsifter and purifier maintenance
- Liaise with Mill team on requirements
- Conduct safety and cleanliness checks
- Maintain good housekeeping standards
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Adhere to safety requirements
- Conduct bin dips
- Cleaning of the Mill area
- Will be required to do general plant maintenance
Qualifications
- Health and safety standards
- Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification [Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL] will be applied based on SETA accreditations
- 6 months experience in the similar environment will be advantageous
- Computer literacy will be needed
- Forklift license will be an advantage
